Location
Campeche Playa Golf Marina & Spa Resort is located just 45 minutes south of the historic city of Campeche, in the state of the same name, found in the Yucatan peninsula, southeast Mexico.
Nearby there are many attractions, including the Caves of Monte Bravo, kilometres of beaches and lagoons and the archaeological richness of a state which is home to some of the most significant Mayan ruins and two cities that have been declared UNESCO World Heritage sites, the city of Campeche and the city of Calakmul. Campeche’s original 16th century fortifications are still largely intact and the pristine colonial style homes, painted in an array of pastel colours, make this city an absolute must see destination.
The area is currently serviced by four international airports: Ciudad del Carmen International, Merida International, Campeche International and Cancun International Airport.

This resort is washed by the waters of the Gulf of Mexico which offer the possibility for deep sea fishing of sea bream, grouper, tuna, a Mexican type of jack fish and ray among others, as well as shrimp and a wide array of shell fish.
Respecting the Environment
The construction of the development has been planned in such a way for it to fit with the natural environment, respecting all natural elements and with special focus on the protection and the ecological improvement of the area. More than 440 acres of the site will be left undeveloped as a “biological corridor” for mangrove swamp and endangered species and less than 5% of the total area will be built on.

Purchase Details
A variety of options for mortgages are available at around 70% LTV with interest rates of approx 5%.
There is a US$10,000 deposit (non-refundable) needed to reserve a unit followed by 15% less the deposit on exchange of contracts after 35 days. This is followed by stage payments until completion.
Phase 1 is due for completion end of 2008. This will include the Hotel, Marina, Town Centre and the first 9 holes of the golf course.
Additional costs come to between 5-6% which includes legal, tax, setting up the trust and registration of the property.
There is a rental management company which has been set up and will be located within the resort. Clients will be able to independently negotiate with them.
